The game of the weekend in the Premier League is certainly the clash on Saturday lunchtime between Manchester City and Liverpool.
Both teams have started the season well, they are unbeaten with seven points and sit two points behind the current leaders Manchester United.

After a thrilling 4-0 victory over Arsenal, the international break probably came at the wrong time for Liverpool, who would have loved to keep playing. They have looked very impressive going forward this season and that is one reason why this should be a great game, because both teams love to play attacking and entertaining football.
Manchester City finished with a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth before the international break, a game in which they scored a 97th minute winner to take home all three points. Raheem Sterling was sent off in moment after scoring that goal, and he will be a big miss for City in this game.
His absence means Sergio Aguero may get a chance to play, he has seen his starting place go to Jesus in the opening weeks of the season. That means a slight change in formation, and probably a different role for Jesus, but it means that Manchester City will remain as strong as ever, despite having Sterling absent.
Liverpool signed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during the break and although I don’t expect to see him start, I do think we will see him play some part in this game. He may struggle to cement a first team spot straight away, but for now he can offer Liverpool a lot by coming on as a sub and playing the final 20 minutes, where he can use his pace against tiring defenders.
This should be a very entertaining game, with both teams wanting to attack and score goals.
There isn’t much to split them and because of that, an entertaining draw is what I think will happen. Get on the match result ‘draw’ and BTTS at 7/2.
